Job Description
Assembles routine units with a small number of details (IE: pumps, systems, filters, etc). Works with other related parts, materials & media for assemblies. Required to use various machinery and/or hand tools when applicable to complete assemblies. Works with standardized products and methods. May also perform highly repetitive tests using standardized methods and procedures involving visual testing and checking. May also repair a variety of parts suffering from cosmetic imperfections. Hand sands and oils parts. May also grind various shaped parts of simple and routine form. Removes burrs and flashing using portable power and hand grinding tools. May guide the efforts of others in the same or lower grade levels. Must be able to work with little to no supervision and perform routine quality checks throughout the process. You should be proficient in:
- Pipefitting Skills
- Mechanical Assembly Skills
- High School / GED
- Excellent Communication Skills
