Position Description:
Multiband Global is seeking Underground Drop Technicians to join our growing Fiber team. The successful applicant will be responsible for running fiber optic cables to customer\'s homes and businesses.
All tools, equipment and company vehicle are provided and training is available. Successful candidates will have customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
General Responsibilities:
- Prepare the work site to locate utilities and eliminate hazards
- Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools
- Excavate and fill trenches/ditches
- Install underground telecommunications cable/inner duct
- Follow safety standards throughout the process
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must have a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in underground trenching is a plus
- Required to travel within county areas ?
