OBJECTIVE

To perform the day to day underwriting of new business applications. To review and determine compensability for all Term to 100 claims. To apply the underwriting and claims guidelines to maintain accuracy and consistency in decision making along our block of business. To provide accurate information and excellent customer service and maintain the privacy of our customers by adhering to the PII and PHI security guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform day-to-day underwriting, claims, and decision making.

Maintain consistent and accurate communication with customers, agents, reinsurers, vendors, and claimants.

Maintain excellent working relationship with all Leaders employees, as well as provide support to submittal, policy owner services and corporate services, as needed.

Provide regular status updates, as well as discuss any problems with customers or in completing required functions with Manager, Underwriting/Claims.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Minimum two years of experience in a life insurance operational role. Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm required. Working knowledge of computers required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel required.

Preferred: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.

Note: This position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
