Western Sierra Medical Clinic is an engaging, mission-driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality care to all members of our community.GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIESWestern Sierra Medical Clinic seeks an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our Grass Valley clinic. The Urgent Care Physician will provide preventative and acute care for all patients. The successful candidate will have a positive and caring attitude, understanding the needs of the patient population, and addressing them with compassion and sensitivity.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Valid California license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.

• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• PALS provider card as required by CMO
• Computer literate (i.e. logging on to a computer, usage of keyboard and mouse, familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel).
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
