What you\'ll do...

SUMMARY:
The manager is responsible for implementing process improvements, establishing financial controls, overseeing month-end closing activities, analyzing financial data, and supporting the financial performance of assigned business areas.

SENIOR MANAGER I, GLOBAL SHARED SERVICES

We are seeking a Senior Manager to support the financial performance of Global Shared Services. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, compare data to third-party information, budgets, or actual results, and research and review associates\' research of financial information. You will discuss the business impact of information in data and other information to the profit and loss (P&L) within accounting rules, ensure audits are managed for timeliness and accuracy, and facilitate the relationship between the team and internal customers and external specialists.

As Senior Manager you will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing, and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance, accordingly, developing contingency plans, and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Additionally, the Senior Manager will provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, and conducting regular performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards, coaching for success and improvement, and ensuring diversity awareness.

You will also promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application, ensuring compliance with them, and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Finally, the Senior Manager will ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related field

- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analysis and modeling

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong project management and leadership skills

- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software

- Experience with audit management and SOX compliance is a plus.
