Job Description


The HR Systems Analyst will primarily support the Workday Compensation/Advanced Compensation and benefits configurations while driving improvements to functionality and analytics supporting our Total Rewards teams. The Analyst will also provide additional support to other Workday products such as Talent and Performance.

This individual will serve as a technical expert by driving long term direction and design requirements. They will analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements, helping to define the specifications, development, and implementation of reporting and new or redesigned processes and functionality. They will be responsible for configuring business processes, manage a SOX compliant security framework, and setup condition rules, notifications, and reports.

Responsibilities :

Provide insight into functional operation of the application, highlighting opportunities for system developments and enhancements to continuously improve user experience; gather requirements from functional team to gain knowledge of business processes to contribute to definition, design, and documentation of processes

Serve as the Workday Advanced Compensation and Benefits Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing consulting services to key stakeholders and leadership regarding system issues, enhancements, upgrades/releases, and supporting best practices

Identify opportunities to streamline and better leverage Workday to support our Total Rewards vision

Utilize analytical and technical skills to translate business needs and convert them into requirements; drive projects, configure and test system functionality, and deliver effective and impactful results

Design and write reports to drive analytics that support business needs, provide key insights, and enhance the use of Workday dashboards

Consult and support the compensation planning cycles by defining coordination of events, enhancing the merit grid, managing comp review options, exposing cycle reporting for business partners

Partner with functional team to review and maintain job catalog and architecture; collaborate to design a career framework for the organization

Consult and support Open Enrollment and support benefit offerings by defining eligibility and enrollment event rules, creating benefit plans, issuing coverage and enrollment event types; maintain ACA and other government reporting

Collaborate with Workday/3 rd party consultants and internal IT teams to manage projects and provide solutions to meet specified requirements

Maintain technical and industry knowledge by actively participating in Workday Community and other forums; continually increase personal knowledge and maintain professional development through training and research

Support security access and application issues through Service Now application

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor\'s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business-related field preferred.

At least three years\' HR technology experience, with at least half of that directly in a systems analyst role

Previous Workday configuration experience required; success creating calculated fields, and developing eligibility, validation, and condition rules

Previous experience configuring Workday Advanced Compensation and Benefits preferred

Functional knowledge of core HCM data management, technical knowledge of EIB loads, and experience with standard testing procedures

Solutions oriented with an emphasis on process improvement, providing high quality and creative solutions

Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of project management fundamentals

The successful candidate must be analytical; detail oriented and understands/considers the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes

The individual must have problem solving skills and be able to apply creative solutions to potential problems

Must have excellent time management skills in projecting timelines and meeting deadlines

Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature

Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude
