Our client is seeking a UX Writer/Content Strategist to join their team for a contract to hire role! Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, with a focus on UX writing, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing both content strategy and UX writing samples
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

Desired Skills & Experience

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

This contract UX Writer/Content Strategist will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the content strategy for our digital platforms on a contractual basis. With a focus on user experience, this role requires the ability to craft compelling and user-centered copy that guides users through our platforms, while also contributing to the overall content strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to create user-centric copy that enhances the overall user experience
• Write and optimize microcopy, instructional text, and other UX elements to facilitate intuitive user interactions
• Help develop and execute a content strategy for our public website and customer portals, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
• Create and maintain content style guides and best practices for consistent messaging and tone across all digital touchpoints
• Use data-driven insights, including A/B testing, to enhance content effectiveness and user engagement
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards for all content
• Partner with the broader content team to integrate UX writing into the overall content strategy
• Participate in user research to gain insights into user behaviors and needs
