PursueCare is seeking a UX/UI design intern to join our growing technical team. We are a telemedicine company that provides mental health and addiction treatment, using an app. In this growth-critical position you would be working directly with the development team in creating a meaningful and well-crafted user experience. A strong background in design thinking and an understanding of digital technologies will be critical at this fast-paced start-up. In addition to your design-focused responsibilities, you may be asked to assist in project management tasks, such as creating timelines and managing project deliverables.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO:

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to support clinical initiatives and improve the quality of patient care.
• Understand clinical workflows and translate them to digital experiences.
• Design high-resolution graphics for our mobile suite of products and our website.
• Identify UX/UI issues and work with our development team to create technically feasible solutions.
• Champion your own creative design ideas and work with our Sr. UX Designer to come up with new improvements for our products.
• Participate in user experience research by meeting stakeholders, creating surveys/questionnaires, and testing prototypes with the end-user.
• Partner with all teams, from data analytics to clinical, and from operations to marketing.

WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• A portfolio of UI/UX/Visual Design work illustrating your design skills and understanding of products.
• Proven work experience with UX/UI design or a similar role
• Experience working in an agile environment.

• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Proficiency with standard UI/UX tools and Adobe suite.
• The ability to write basic CSS.
• An understanding of the intersection between design and implementation.

PursueCare brings virtual evidence-based addiction treatment for opioids, alcohol, and other substance use disorders to patients through a smart phone application. PursueCare offers low-barrier transitional digital mental health and addiction treatment that is particularly beneficial for those who experience significant barriers to in-person care. Through the app, patients can access doctors who prescribe Medically-Assisted Treatment (MAT), counselors and therapists, psychiatric care providers, at-home screening, supporting resources and a pharmacy that can ship medications directly to the patient. We partner with health systems, community health partners, employers, and health plans. Patients can also seek treatment without a referral.
