:Reporting to the Department Manager and under general supervision, according to established procedures and protocols, the Cardiovascular Technician will perform treadmill stress testing, Holter monitor hook-ups, event monitors and the accompanying scanning or recording all test data and ensuring data is processed and labeled for review to be interpreted by dictating physicians.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they\'re invaluable. • Completion of EKG Tech Program from an accredited vocational school or college.
• National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire. Or,
• National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. Or,
• National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire. Or,
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire. Or,
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire.
• 6 months - Experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting; 1 year preferred.
• Experience with Allscripts, IDX, Cardiowrite, Word, Excel, Meditech, and Citrix.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate\'s Degree.
• Certificate in arrhythmia recognition and interpretation upon hire.
• ACSM-CEP Certification upon hire.
• EKG Technician experience.
