South Metro Animal Emergency Care is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our highly skilled group of professionals for day and night shifts part-time. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing all your technical skills such as:
  • Triage emergency cases as they arrive.
  • In-patient care for critical patients, including exemplary comfort care.
  • Perform digital radiography utilizing proper techniques for positioning of patients and safety equipment.
• Obtain health history from clients and ensure documentation is accurate and complete within Cornerstone and SmartFlow.
• Ability to restrain safely and effectively.
• Advocate for patientsand clients by answering client\'s questions and addressing their concerns.
• Help maintain facility cleanliness.
• Readily demonstrate empathy for clients in stressful and emotionally driven moments such as end of life.
• Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members is a must.
• Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set.
