VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are an AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice offering primary care, surgery, and dentistry services. We have an amazing team and a great facility located near Piedmont Park, Buckhead and Midtown.

We are open Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm, closed weekends, no boarding.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will support our team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Obtaining patient history from clients
• Filling prescriptions
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
• Maintaining medical records
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

Schedule: Full time weekly schedule includes four weekday shifts 7:30am - 6:00pm with an hour lunch.

Compensation: Minimum $15/hr and up based on relevant experience, skills, education, and credentials.

Desired Qualifications: Prior veterinary assisting experience, proficiency in veterinary technical skills including duties listed above.
