Our 19,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility has been built from the ground-up and is home to our growing team of compassionate specialists, doctors, and support staff. Through the years, we\xe2\x80\x99ve grown from an after-hours emergency hospital into a nationally recognized emergency, critical care, and specialty center. At Avets, we\xe2\x80\x99re with you every step of the way, offering passionate expertise in emergency and specialty care. Our team of board-certified specialists combine their extensive training with Avets\xe2\x80\x99 cutting-edge equipment to address our patients\xe2\x80\x99 advanced surgical, imaging, and medical needs. For over 25 years, we\xe2\x80\x99ve provided specialty and emergency care to Western Pennsylvania and the tri-state area at our Monroeville, PA location. We\xe2\x80\x99re always here for you\xe2\x80\x9424 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital is seeking a third Criticalist to join our amazing critical care team. Our brand-new 19,000 sq. ft. facility has been purposefully designed with state-of-the-art equipment to assist us in fulfilling our goal of practicing quality medicine and compassionate care for patients, families, and referring veterinarians in our community. Avets has a long-standing focus on emergency, trauma, and critical care. Our Criticalists take the lead in shaping our emergency and critical care departments\xe2\x80\x99 growth and development and are supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Surgery.
Education is a daily focus at Avets. Our commitment to education is demonstrated by hospital-wide support of our residency and internship programs, and a team of VTS(ECC) lead training for our support staff. Additionally, we support personal and professional growth and wellness for our team members. We believe that our progressive approach to medicine and leadership creates an environment where specialists can collaborate openly as a team, allowing us to best serve the needs of our patients and clients daily.
