Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.

Duties:

- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with various tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medical collections
- Handle laboratory samples and ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed
- Provide support in animal catheterization and veterinary critical care
- Utilize dog handling skills to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in medical collection procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.58 - $18.09 per hour
