We are currently recruiting for a skilled veterinary technician for our emergency and surgery services for dogs and cats. Our hospital is located in San Diego, CA and is open 24 hours a day. Our businesses are PETSURG, a surgical referral center & ER4PETS, an emergency service.

• \xc2\xb7 You will utilize your in-depth medical knowledge and your highly developed organizational skills to manage and direct the client/patient flow in the practice. You will learn a lot even if you have already worked as a veterinary technician for several years. If you want to use the skills you have learned, we will help you grow and become more confident.
• \xc2\xb7 Our technicians are cross-trained meaning you will not just be a room tech or a surgery tech, you will excel at every aspect. At times, there are many important tasks to do at once and other times, you will feel all caught up so you will learn the importance of prioritizing or triage.
• \xc2\xb7 Our shifts are days, evenings and overnights. We are open every day and holidays can be busier because dogs eat chocolate and go to the park and wrestle with their new friends. If you have goals, we can help you get through those steps too. Maybe you want to just work while you go to school, we can help create a schedule just for you. If you want to learn anatomy, because it will help with vet school, that is also possible. If you need time off to get married, visit family in Hawaii, coach soccer or chaperone kids to dance recitals, we have flexible schedules. We work as a team and can help you with what is important in your life today.
