Our services include acupuncture, therapeutic laser, behavior training and consultation, dentistry, advanced ultrasound imaging, reproduction, echocardiogram, and orthopedic care. \xc2\xb7 Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.
\xc2\xb7 Venipuncture and IVC placement
\xc2\xb7 Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
\xc2\xb7 Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
\xc2\xb7 Recognize subtle change in clinical status.
\xc2\xb7 Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.
\xc2\xb7 Complete estimates, basic record keeping.
\xc2\xb7 Surgical preparation and assisting.
\xc2\xb7 Anesthesia monitoring.
\xc2\xb7 Dentistry.
\xc2\xb7 Plus so much more!
Requirements: Must have a current veterinary technician license in the state of Idaho or eligible to transfer/obtain a license in Idaho. Minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a general practice. Fear-Free certified a plus but a sense of humor is a requirement.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4/10\xe2\x80\x99s, one weekend per month. Open 6 days a week. M-F 7:30am to 5:30pm, Sat 8:00am-3:00pm and no after hour emergencies or call shifts.
Compensation: Starting at $22 \xe2\x80\x93 25 / hour. Pay dependent on experience and licensure. 2-weeks paid vacation, CE benefits, and professional development being offered. Relocation Assistance available for the right candidate.
