The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Vice President of Gaming Business Intelligence & Analytics. In this role you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our business intelligence and analytics strategy, ensuring that data informs and supports our decision-making processes. You and your team are responsible for all business intelligence or data analysis functions within Gaming and will provide operational leaders with key business intelligence and analytics to drive the business more effectively, both in the areas of existing business and new growth. This position will have a key role in the strategies, technologies and tools to obtain and present gaming business analytics. Minimum \xe2\x80\x93 Anticipated Maximum Salary: $158100 - $221200 / year

Responsibilities

• Establish standard tools and an analytics methodology to facilitate and optimize reporting
• Responsible for all business intelligence or data analysis functions within Gaming including, but not limited to scheduling, labor productivity, marketing, gaming optimization, and yield management
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with the company\'s overall goals and objective.
• Lead a team of business intelligence professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify business needs, define key performance indicators, and translate requirements into actionable insights.
• Implement and manage robust data governance practices to ensure compliance, security, and privacy of sensitive information
• Monitor and assess industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and driving organizational growth.
• Oversee implementation of business technology solutions and collaborate with IT teams to evaluate and implement appropriate business intelligence tools, platforms, and infrastructure to support scalability and performance.
• Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting the value of business intelligence and empowering teams to leverage data for strategic planning and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, business analytics, information systems, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or MBA is preferred
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role within the field of business intelligence, analytics, or data management, in a casino or gaming organization
• Experience creating business processes, from definition of requirements to report automation.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, and advanced SQL querying skills
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques
• Experience in business reporting and analysis, economic or market research, forecasting, statistical and data analysis
• Microsoft Office Suite, with expert Excel skills such as Power Pivot and Power Query, as well as advanced skills creating ad hoc analysis
