A & R Hospitality Management is looking for a VP of Operations who will lead the performance management of 19 open and operating select service hotels as well as the pre-opening success of a robust pipeline. This energetic and engaging leader will supervise a diverse hospitality team and will possess a proven track record in operating select service, destination, branded select, economy and full-service hotels. The VP of Operations will optimize our A&R\xe2\x80\x99s operating capabilities and deploy strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, while improving gross margin, ensure consistent training and development of key operations leaders, and oversee asset maintenance, procurement, associate relations, and overall staff retention. We are in search of qualified candidates who can excel at the following:

  • Executes new openings and transitions for the Company.
  • Mentors Regional Director of Operations and GMs to ensure successful operations of their hotels.
  • Ensures responsible financial management of the hotels at all times.
  • In partnership with the leadership team, develops annual budgets to accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets.
  • Drives guest satisfaction by maintaining product and service quality standards; periodic property inspections, ensuring completion of brand and Company training programs and initiating corrective action as necessary.
  • Collaborates with team leaders in the implementation and ongoing management of sales, revenue management and marketing programs to achieve and exceed established RevPAR goals.
  • Critically analyzes all metrics (including but not limited to financial reports, GSS, STR, Quality Assurance Inspections, Financial Audits, Associate Opinion Surveys, Employee Turnover), assessing actual performance to defined benchmarks, identifying variances, and initiating corrective action.
  • Ensures that all assigned assets are properly maintained and protected, and that life safety programs and practices are being enforced.
