Weekend availability preferred. Time commitment of a school year: August to early June. Responsibilities: As an OPEN EDvantage Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Teaching middle school and high school students valuable study and time management skills to enhance their academic performance.
Assisting students in staying organized and helping them prioritize their most critical projects and assignments.
Breaking down complex class material into manageable pieces to facilitate student understanding.
Supporting students in mastering challenging math and science concepts to ensure success in assessments.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of prior tutoring or relevant educational experience.
A teaching credential or masters degree
Willingness to commit to 6-10 hours of tutoring per week. Tutoring sessions typically occur between 2 pm and 9 pm on weekdays, with additional weekend availability being a plus.
The ability to commit to an entire school year, from now to early June.
