Salary: $5,076 - $6,177 per month (SR-22, Step D to I)
Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant\'s qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Duties Summary
The Visitor Information Specialist IV supervises and directs the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Information Program; conducts studies and makes recommendations for the development and revision of program plans, policies and procedures; assists in providing consultative services to officials of foreign countries in establishing or improving their visitor information program; coordinates and participates in training activities and protocol matters; and performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Basic Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor\'s degree.
Excess work experience as described below, or any other responsible administrative, professional, or analytical work experience that provided knowledge, skills and abilities comparable to those acquired in four (4) years of successful study while completing a college or university curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. To be acceptable, the experience must have been of such scope, level and quality as to assure the possession of comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.
General Experience: Three (3) years of work involving the analysis and evaluation of managerial policies, systems, methods and practices in the development and/or improvement of same.
Supervisory Aptitude: For the class Visitor Information Specialist IV, Supervisory aptitude rather than actual supervisory experience may be accepted. Supervisory aptitude is the demonstration of aptitude or potential for the performance of supervisory duties through successful completion of regular or special assignments which involve some supervisory responsibilities or aspects of supervision.
