The Stoughton Fire Department is looking for energetic individuals to fill entry-level volunteer positions. Volunteering with Stoughton Fire is a great way to support the local community or even prepare for a paid career in the fire and rescue service. We are looking for people from a wide age range and backgrounds. If you ever thought about becoming a firefighter, an EMT, or just helping in the community, now is your chance to make it happen!
Applicants must reside or work within the fire protection area served by the City of Stoughton Fire Department; including the City of Stoughton, the Town of Dunkirk, and parts of the Towns of Dunn, Rutland and Pleasant Springs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must reside or work within the fire protection area served by the City of Stoughton Fire Department; including the City of Stoughton, the Town of Dunkirk, and parts of the Towns of Dunn, Rutland and Pleasant Springs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver\'s License.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
