OVERVIEW:

This role shall provide operational expertise in various products including but not limited to Commercial Real Estate loans, Term loans, SBA loans, Municipality loans, Letters of credit, Lines of credit and Construction loans. This function manages and oversees operational processes including but not limited to transaction closing, onboarding and funding clients, loan payments, service and maintenance, flood management, construction loan management and any system upgrades, integrations or research. Assist in the commercial loan department as assigned, in conformance with established policies, procedures and objectives. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops procedures, improves process and forms for commercial operations and the lending administrative roles, thereby improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensures all proper authorizations and forms of documentation are obtained.
  • Reviews and verifies all pre-closing conditions are met prior to closings occurring.
  • Identifies operational issues and implement processes to enhance productivity and quality control.
  • Reviews and distributes the daily Exceptions report and distributes as needed. Create and distribute a report to identify trends.
  • Responds to a variety of inquiries and confirmations from commercial loan customers. Complete credit inquiries received by the commercial loan department.
  • Oversees preparing various reports for the Commercial Loan Officers, Board and Security Committee meetings.
  • Maintain and track the new CFPB Small Business Loan Data collection and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and track commercial mortgage real estate taxes via the CoreLogic software used by the bank.
  • Tracks and renews all UCC Filings. Monitors exception reports and distributes.
  • Reviews and ensures proper information is gathered for HMDA and ensures proper information is gathered for Affordable Housing
  • Reviews and ensures proper CRA tracking and reporting, monitoring
  • Oversees SBA Audits (internal), reporting and processing
  • Process and complete system maintenance for Loan Resolution.
  • Insurance, flood insurance and Forced Place insurance tracking and compliance
  • Performs related commercial and unrelated duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three to five years related bank experience, or equivalent specialized course work and training with five plus years Commercial Loans Operations related experience desired. Knowledge of commercial loan processes, loan systems, and loan documentation required. Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Laser Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Identifi, Crystal, and Insight software preferred. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is not required but would be a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The successful candidate should have commercial loan operations working knowledge and experience that will enable identification of process and overall system issues. Role will be to recommend and implement solutions to increase efficiencies and tighten quality controls. Level of experience should enable the individual to know what questions to ask to resolve the issue whether procedural or system related. The emphasis is on proactive monitoring, governance, compliance and risk identification to change or implement commercial loan processes and procedures.

SUPERVISORY SCOPE

Lending Administrators will report to the Commercial Operations person as it relates to commercial processes/procedures and daily workflow. Lending Administrators will report for all else (including performance reviews) to Michael Buckmaster, SVP.
