Summary

Connection Point is the next generation microservices based enterprise platform that replaces many of Maximus\' legacy monolith systems on our existing US Services projects and is being bid on new opportunities. This position will oversee the Product team, drive adoption, and guide the Product Roadmap. The selected individual will interact and collaborate with corporate leadership in Business Development, Business Solutions, and other IT Partners to identify the path forward for Connection Point as a solution for Maximus US Services current and future business needs.

Job Summary

- Define the product vision and strategy for ConnectionPoint

- Manage current team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and Product Analysts

- Drive accountability for the Product team\'s portion of the SAFe Agile process

- Coordinate closely with the Service Delivery Team and Platform team to maintain velocity and quality

- Identify and prioritize capabilities needed in the Product for future growth in collaboration with key stakeholders

- Manage Product team budget, including project/tenant implementation budgets

- Benchmark ConnectionPoint against commercial alternatives and competitor solutions

- Lead the maturation and continuous improvement of product management for the Product team

- Work with other teams across the company, including Business Operations, Business Solutions, Business Development, and Capture to raise awareness and readiness for accelerated Connection Point adoption

Qualifications

- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Technical Engineering, or equivalent field required

- 6+ years experience in product strategy, product development, and/or business strategy with demonstrated progression in scope of work

- 5+ years management experience with proven progression in size and/or scope of area of management

- Experience working with senior leadership - serving as a thought partner with demonstrated history of practical execution

- Experience developing, guiding, and evolving teams of subordinate leaders

- Experience working with end users of products

- Strong analytical skills across multiple types of data across finance, product, accounting, marketing

- Ability to query and manipulate your own data

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver simple and actionable recommendations

- Ability to break down ambiguous/complex problems, create discrete workstreams for project collaborators, and deliver a cohesive recommendation

- Must be able to build relationships across the business and provide strategic support to stakeholders

- Experience in US state government markets, particularly in the MES field

- In dept expertise in agile frameworks, preferably with certification in SAFe.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate\'s education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus\'s total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
