Position: 4th Grade Teacher We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative 4th Grade Teacher to inspire and educate our young learners. Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering dynamic and differentiated instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners and aligns with state standards.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and engaged in their learning journey.
Integrating strategies from research-based pedagogies to promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
Using a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide targeted intervention and support as needed.
Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies to ensure the academic success and well-being of all students.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
Valid teaching license/certification.
Experience teaching elementary school, preferably at the 4th-grade level.
Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. With the exception of designated Career and Technology Education (CTE) positions, the minimum qualification to apply for a teacher, librarian or counselor position is a Bachelor\'s Degree.
If you are hired without completing a Teacher\'s Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license. You must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department. Within each year of employment, you must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements, as set forth by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB). It is your responsibility to ensure the program you have enrolled is aligned with the teaching line you are hired in.
