Job Description

About this position,

The Warehouse Associate is essential to keep movement and production in the warehouse running smoothly.

You will assist with receiving, loading, and unloading trucks by safely operating a forklift/cherry picker and verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials. You will also organize stock, record stock, and prepare orders.

The ideal candidate must have/be,

Aware of (or willing to learn) FDA and OSHA standards of storing and operating

Able to sweep a large surface area and capable of sweeping piles into a dust pan

Able to follow orders and instructions in order to complete tasks given

Actively seeking to help around the work space

Capable of standing/moving for long periods of time, 8 hours a day

Can safely operate light power tools such as a drill or sawzall

Capable of operating heavy machinery

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least 18 years of age

Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license

Able to lift at least 50 lbs above the head

What you will do,

Complete monthly counts for each product being stored

Complete daily checklists for heavy machinery (e.g. forklifts)

Complete daily cleaning checklists at the end of each day

Sweep the entire warehouse

Empty trash bins into the dumpster

Contact partner company to empty the dumpster as needed

Clean surfaces in the office, tables, desks, chairs, etc.

Clean forklifts and other machinery as needed

Wipe down surfaces within the warehouse on occasion

Ensure compliance with all FDA and OSHA standards

Pay: $16.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
