A Warehouse / Driver for Capital Electric is responsible for performing Warehouse duties & making Deliveries. See the following Responsibilities. You must meet the Minimum Qualifications. You will be expected to work in a timely professional manner, and form positive work relationships. You will be expected to work in a Team environment while maintaining the reputation of providing excellent Customer Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull / Pack Orders in staging areas, load/unload material into truck(s)
  • Create (Open & Close) Shipping Manifests
  • Perform Forklift / Vehicle maintenance inspections
  • Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations
  • Drive truck defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations
  • Unload and place material where customer requests
  • Provide good customer service
  • Pick-up customer returns as needed
  • Put up Stock Material in correct Warehouse location(s).
  • Use Wire Cutting Machine(s) to measure, spool & cut wire as needed
  • Maintain a clean work environment (Sweep Floors / Empty Trash)
  • Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
  • Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
  • Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years driving experience
  • Be able to operate vehicle that uses Air Brakes and Lift Gate
  • Must obtain Medical DOT Certificate prior to employment
  • Must wear STEEL TOE SHOES and other required PPE equipment as required
  • 1 year FORKLIFT experience preferred
  • No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for one year
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 75 lbs. occasionally
  • Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
