Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Type: Permanent/Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - 25.00/hr
Location: Orlando, FL

We are looking for responsible candidates for a metal manufacturing client who is a leader in solving companies\xe2\x80\x99 most challenging metal product and service needs. The primary function of the Welder/Fabricator is to design, weld, and fabricate metal parts and components. This position will also be required to perform quality checks, basic adjustments to welding equipment, and print reading.

What you will do:

• Perform at MIG and TIG weld techniques.
• Properly prepare welding surface.
• Design, weld, and fabricate routine and occasionally complex metal parts and components.
• Perform fit-up and assembly with moderate supervision.
• Perform in-process quality control checks for self, sometimes with assistance from co-workers and/or department leader.
• Make basic adjustments to welding equipment as required.
• Read and understand prints and welding symbols.
• Follow all shop safety rules and regulations.

What You Bring to the Job:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• 2-4 years of demonstrated work experience with sheet metal Fabrication/Processes.
• Ability to pass one (1) welding certification.
• Ability to follow specific procedures to complete a variety of repetitive and semi-complex tasks.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; and respond to visual/aural cues.
• Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening.
