QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold or be eligible for Idaho licensures that meet or exceed current billable provider standards (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT), to be eligible for reimbursement from private insurance and Medicaid and Medicare. Additional SUD certification is preferred. Minimum six months professional work or academic preparation for working within the substance abuse/mental health service areas, preferably with adolescents and adults. Prior experience working in a tribal setting is preferred. Valid driver\'s license and evidence of insurability as well as a three year motor vehicle report required, with no more than two moving violations within the past year. Background check required. This is a grant funded position: through May 2027. Continuation of this position beyond the initial grant period is subject to continued funding.

ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Hearing within normal limits with or without use of corrective hearing devices.
  • Vision: adequate to read 12-point type with or without use of corrective lenses.
  • Must be able to verbally interact with staff, clients and public.
  • Manual dexterity of hands/fingers for writing and data entry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains a positive peer relationship and performs as a team player.
  • Plans and prioritizes to maintain a time and attendance record which complies with company policy.
  • Provides excellent internal and external customer service assistance, providing knowledgeable and appropriate information to customers.
  • Works independently in a very detail oriented manner, and meets deadlines.
  • Employee reports to work in a timely manner.
  • Employee utilizes breaks and meal periods to care for personal business outside of the work area.
  • Employee completes work assignments in a timely manner and appropriately exits the work area in a timely manner.
  • Employee appropriately utilizes Time and Attendance for clocking in and out and schedules absences in advance when possible.
  • Employee is available for scheduled work shifts regularly and communicates absence to supervisor in a timely manner if unavailable.
  • Employee is able to work evening and weekend hours as needed to support programming. Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Provides individual, family and group counseling to assigned client during assigned times in authorized settings.
  • Reviews the effectiveness of participation within group sessions and recommends revisions to date, time location etc. to supervisor.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of compliance related to HIPAA, confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Utilizes departmental and organizational approved protocols and procedures for completing appropriate referrals to psychiatric consultants, outside providers and/or inpatient programs.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of ethical and professional guidelines as described by profession and Marimn Health.
  • Demonstrates success and positive outcomes as a result of therapeutic outcomes through appropriate utilization of documentation related to care extended.
  • Maintains knowledge of trauma informed care and teaches co-workers trauma-informed approaches to interventions.
  • Conducts SUD Intake Assessments per Marimn standards and protocol and in accordance with state certified Intensive Outpatient setting expectations.
  • Maintains knowledge and ability to accurately complete assessments utilizing Marimn Health\'s standard assessment tool within authorized timeframe as outlined in departmental policy.
  • Maintains knowledge in evidence based programs and demonstrates ability to maintain fidelity of a program as facilitator or co-facilitator of Marimn Health authorized group sessions.
  • Assists in the identification of resources to provide transportation to clients in need of assistance and maintains knowledge and compliance with transportation guidelines.
  • Maintains client caseload as assigned and maintains appropriate client records regarding each one.
  • Completes documentation timely and completely. This includes individualized client treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within policy timeframes.
  • Actively participates in clinical supervision with MH Clinical Staff and Consulting Physicians by progressing towards individual plans, staff cases appropriately and compliance with department protocols.
  • Engages in case management model appropriately with clients in in-patient or treatment settings.
  • Participates as a team member of the Wellbriety Services Department and attends meetings/committees as designated.
  • Maintains current knowledge in ASAM criteria for treatment as well as any other applicable tools identified and utilized in clinical judgement.
  • Maintains basic knowledge of mental health issues and diagnosis which are prevalent within the community and client caseload to appropriately coordinate care in dual diagnosis team setting.
  • Engages appropriately in case management staffing presenting appropriately to represent and support client needs appropriately.
  • Utilizes Marimn Health documentation standards and protocols appropriately and timely to ensure communication of progress and plan with other Marimn health care providers.
  • Participates actively in peer review and audits.
  • Ability to work closely with the Wellbriety Team/Behavioral Health/MAT and Medical teams in coordinating patient care both internally and externally.
  • Ability to effectively interact with supervisor, staff and other Tribal Departments.
  • Verbal, non-verbal and written communication is professional and appropriate.
  • Excellent public relations skills.
  • Consults with other departments regarding staff development. Develops and facilitates staff workshops.
  • Presents workshops for patients in multi-disciplinary programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
