We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our wine team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wine, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong interest in sales. Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies for each brand that we represent. Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that these strategies are correctly implemented.
- Identify new clients. Research the market to discover new clients who may be interested in the products. Work in conjunction with the sales and marketing team to develop a plan for approaching those potential new clients.
- Execute promotional events. Organize the events, and ensure that the brand is well represented.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities. Work closely with the marketing manager to develop successful wine marketing strategies.
- Perform in-store and off-site demonstrations.
- Coordinate with Wine Manager on current wine stock levels ensuring for an adequate supply.
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience in the wine industry
- Experience providing training and giving presentations
- RAMP certification
- Passionate and knowledgable about wine
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Sales skills
- A people person who can build strong relationships with people in the industry
- Good at leading a team and working within a team
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good computer skills
