Overview

We are seeking an X-ray Technician to join our team at Beach Road Orthopaedics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and various imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate imaging equipment effectively to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed. Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Collaborate with medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient care. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the imaging equipment.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and diagnostic radiology. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
