POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

JOB TITLE: Youth Center Supervisor

PART-TIME: Mondays through Thursday, 1:45pm-4:45pm, during the school year (12 hours per week)

PAY: $21.63 per hour

General Statement of Duties:

Youth Center Supervisors built trusting and impactful relationships with young people while providing a safe space where youth can participate in educational, social and recreational activities.

Duties include:

Provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment at the Youth Center. Serve as a positive role model. Engage with young people in sports, arts, games, homework and other enrichment activities. Utilize behavior modification techniques to increase desirable behaviors. Promote healthy and appropriate interactions among children Support youth in their character development; including leadership, teamwork, personal responsibility. Engage youth in decision making and planning process. Other tasks as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of behavior modification techniques Ability to supervise children in large groups Strong interpersonal skills Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Education & Experience

:

Experience working with youths in supervisory setting preferred
